Das Licht der Welt erblickte ich 1963 in Hannover, wo ich zur Zeit auch lebe und arbeite. Zur Fotografie kam ich Mitte der 80er Jahre, als ich mir meine erste Spiegelreflexkamera, eine Minolta X300, kaufte um bessere Urlaubsfotos zu machen.                                     Damals machte mir das fotografieren Spaß und ich sagte mir „Da muss doch noch mehr drin sein.“  Es folgten eine X700, ein eigenes S/W Labor, die erste Ausstellung, eine Minolta 7xi und eine 9xi, eine Pentax 645N und eine Konika/Minolta 7D.                                          Am PC arbeite ich mit Photoshop CS3 und div. anderen Programmen. Im Jahr 2006 begann ich, zusammen mit Andrea, meine Fotos zu internationalen Wettbewerben zu schicken. Annahmen und Auszeichnungen waren die Folgen. Ich werde mich bemühen und hoffe, dass es so weiter geht. 

Aktuell arbeite ich mit einer Canon EOS 7D, EOS 60D und einer 550D und bin davon begeistert.                                                                                                                                             Dieter Boehm

P.S.: fotografieren macht mir noch immer Spaß, auch die Arbeit am PC und nach wie vor sage ich mir:      „Da muss doch noch mehr drin sein“

I first saw the light in 1963 in Hannover where I currently live and work. I discovered photography in the mid eighties when I bought my first SLR, a Minolta X300, to get better pictures during holidays.

At that time photograpy was fun and I thought “there’s more to it”. A X700 followed as well as my own black and white darkroom, my first exhibition, a Minolta 7xi, 9xi, Pentax 645N and           a Konika/Minolta 7D. I’m currently working with Photoshop CS3 and other programs.           In 2006, together with Andrea, I started sending pictures to international competitions. Acceptances and awards were the consequences.I endeavour to refine my photography and hope for further appreciation.

At the moment I’m using a Canon 7D. EOS 60D and aEOS 550D and I really love it.
